Author Biography
Leonardo Mancini (Italy) has obtained his PhD in Letters at the University of Turin, in co-tutorship at the Université Paris 8. He has been DAAD fellow at the Freie Universität Berlin (Institut für Theaterwissenschaft), and he is currently Assistant professor in Performing Arts at the University of Turin. His research focuses on the history of the Italian Theatre between 19th and 20th centuries, declamation on stage, the pedagogy of the actor. Among his publications, he has recently published the monographs Carmelo Bene: fonti della poetica (Mimesis, Milano 2020), and Luigi Rasi. La declamazione come scienza nuova (Mimesis, Milano 2021).
